Inclusive Workplace as a Driver of Retention
This presentation will reference the Duluth Workforce Development Board’s Diversity & Inclusion Employer Action Guide to offer tools that help improve employee retention. Through applying an equity lens, participants will learn to assess their current onboarding and retention practices. They will then learn some tools to strengthen both onboarding and engagement that will lead to improved retention. Finally, participants will consider metrics they can track to assess progress over time.
As Director of the City of Duluth’s Workforce Development Department, Elena Foshay leads development and implementation of workforce strategy, employer services, and programs for jobseekers.
