Building positivity with high expectations

I'd like to create discussion around how culture, positive and negative, affects success, tenure and overall mental health of an organization. We will talk about how diversity plays a role, spend time identifying ways bias may be inhibiting our coworkers and strategize ways to help overcome those. We will talk about ways to create bond and how to leverage those bonds to cultivate high performance from our employees and team members.

Learning Objectives:

  • Create a plan of action around how to implement structure into office activities to generate positive office culture

  • Identify the current positive culture activities happening within their organization as well as the negative cultural happenings within their organization

  • Identify cultural diversities within their organization and create strategies to overcome such diversities

Speaker:

Lindsey Dueland is an experienced leader, with 14 years of managing, leading and directing in a variety of management roles. As the current Director of Development at Northwestern Mutual Duluth, she has had the opportunity to deep dive into how culture impacts a team. Creating a positive culture people long to be a part of will not only retain employees but lead to high productivity that is self-guided. Lindsey's passion is helping others through support, goals and the gift of high expectations.
