How do you keep new employees (and you!) on track during the first year of on-boarding?

The W-Curve is an easy model to remember (and to share with others) and makes a lot of sense when in the midst of big transition. In Megan's experience, being able to step back and use the model for looking at the transition, helps people know that they are not crazy and it will get easier! This can be very helpful with new employees in keeping them on track through the first year.

The W-Curve is a well-traveled and normal pattern of stages that occurs when a person experiences a big life change, or a change in culture (i.e. to a new employer or position)!  It is totally normal to have the ups and downs of the W-Curve. Awareness may help make the transition easier.

Key Take-Aways
