Followership: A Three Pillar Approach

This session will focus on the design and implementation of a curriculum around the three pillars of followership: (1) self-knowledge; (2) strategic agility; and (3) peer relations. Moreover, the session will focus on the proper way to measure impact for actual ROI with the three pillars of followership model. Furthermore, the session will focus on the successes and insights of this model as it has actually been designed and implemented in a large organization for all levels of staff ranging from frontline workers to senior leadership positions.
· Upon completion of this presentation participants will have knowledge of the three pillars that make up exemplary followers: (1) self-knowledge; (2) strategic agility; and (3) peer-relations
· Have knowledge of effective methods for creating exemplary followers through developing the three pillars
· Have knowledge about the unique relationship between leader and follower, and how to navigate in and out of those roles

Their research on followership will also be presented at the Human Capital Institute (HCI)Workforce Planning and Strategy Conference 2016, and at the Association for Talent Development (ATD) International Conference Expo 2016.
