What did you Say? - Building Trust by Becoming an Empathetic Listener

In this interactive ONLINE presentation we will “practice” ways to be present, to listen more empathetically, and to build trust by helping people feel heard. Participants will learn the power of non-judgmental listening, asking questions and using non-verbal cues and clues. Listening is a gift you can give others that builds trust, fosters teamwork and communication, solves disagreements, and even reduces tension and stress. Participants will leave confident to apply tips and skills to become a better listener.

Objectives:.

• Identify key elements of empathetic listening.
•  Apply & demonstrate basic empathetic listening skills through practice.
• Discover areas for growth and self-awareness.

Nicole Karnowski owns Metamorphosis Coaching, Consulting, and Training with her husband, Michael. They help transform teams and workplaces by improving employee retention, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Both are certified coaches, speakers, and trainers. Nicole’s background is in TV News with a B.S. in Broadcast News. She also has a M.A. in Counseling.
